International students applying for "Studying-at-ZUEL" scholarship:
In accordance with the university’s relevant requirements, the annual review for Zhongnan University of Economics and Law scholarship students will be carried out. Only those who complete and pass the annual review on time will be eligible for the next academic year’s ZUEL scholarship. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
I.Review Subjects
International students applying for "Studying-at-ZUEL" Scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year. Please refer to Annex 1 List of Students (Study at ZUEL Scholarship) for eligible participants.
II.Review Content
1.The total evaluation score is 100 points, consisting of four components: moral conduct, academic performance, learning orresearch attitude, and activity participation. The university will provide both a quantitative score and a qualitative assessment for each student based on their overall performance in the previous academic year.
2.The evaluation results are classified as “Excellent”,“Good”,“Qualified” or “Unqualified”. A total score of 60 or above is considered qualified. For students receiving an evaluation of “Qualified” or above, the university will issue a recommended scholarship level for the next academic year. For students receiving an evaluation of “Unqualified” the university will propose the cancellation of their scholarship eligibility.

III.Review Procedure
1.Student Self-Assessment
Before 14:00 (Beijing Time) on April 14, 2026, participating students shall download Annex3 ZUEL Form for Annual Review of Scholarship Status, fill in their basic personal information and self-assessment content, and insert an electronic signature. Once completed, the student shall package the Scholarship Annual Review (Student Self-Assessment) Form, academic transcripts, certificates of honor, and other supporting materials, and send the package to studentaffair@zuel.edu.cn. The email subject line shall follow the format: Annual Scholarship Review + Major School Name + Name.
Note: For instructions on completing the student self-assessment form, please refer to Annex4 Directions of Form for Annual Review of Scholarship Status (Student Self-Assessment).
2.Review by Major School and International Education School
Before 17:00 (Beijing Time) on April 24, 2026, International Education School, in collaboration with the relevant major schools, will conduct a comprehensive evaluation based on the student’s self-assessment and propose an evaluation result of “Excellent”, “Good” , “Qualified” or “Unqualified” as well as a recommendation on whether the student should continue to receive or be disqualified from the scholarship for the next academic year.
3.Public Notice of Review Results
IV. Miscellaneous
1.International students who fail to complete the annual review within the prescribed time or receive an “Unqualified” result will have their scholarship eligibility cancelled. All international students are required to take this matter seriously and complete the annual review accordingly.
2.Participating international students must ensure the authenticity of all materials submitted for the review. If any material is found to be falsified upon verification, the student’s scholarship for the year will be revoked.
