Dear Chinese Government Scholarship Students,
In accordance with the Notice on 2026 Annual Review of Chinese Government Scholarship Students issued by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and relevant university requirements, our school will conduct the annual review of Chinese Government Scholarship recipients. Only those who complete and pass the annual review on time are eligible to continue receiving the scholarship for the following academic year. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
I.Review Subjects
1.CSC students whose scholarship is scheduled to continue beyond September 2026;
2.Doctoral students under CSC who are unable to graduate by July 2026 as originally planned, who wish to apply for an extension and meet the relevant requirements;
3.CSC students whose scholarship was suspended after failing the 2025 annual review.

II.Review Content
The total evaluation score is 100 points, comprising four components: moral conduct, academic performance, learning orresearch attitude, and participation in activities. The university will assign a quantitative score and qualitative assessment to each student based on their overall performance over the past year.
The review result will be either “Pass” or “Fail”. A total score of 60 or above is considered “Pass”. For students who fail, the university will recommend either “termination of the scholarship” or “cancellation of the scholarship” based on the student’s actual performance.

III.Review Procedure
1.Self-assessment by students
Before 14:00 (Beijing time) on April 14, 2026, students subject to the review shall log into the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System for International Students (link: studyinchina.csc.edu.cn) using their CSC number, following Annex3 Chinese Government Scholarship Annual Review System Operation Steps (Student Version). Navigate to “Scholarship Annual Self-assessment”, complete the “Chinese Government Scholarship Evaluation Questionnaire”, fill in the self-assessment information, upload supporting materials (including a transcript, which is mandatory; and certificates of honours, if any), and finally submit.
2.Review by major schools and International Education School
Before 17:00 (Beijing time) on April 24, 2026, International Education School, together with the relevantmajor schools, will conduct a comprehensive review based on the students’ self-assessments, issue a “Pass/Fail” evaluation, and propose a decision on “Continue / Suspend / Cancel” the scholarship.
3.Announcement of the review results
IV.Additional Information
1.Scholarship eligibility will be suspended for any student who fails to complete the annual review within the specified time or receives an “Unsatisfactory” evaluation. All scholarship students are therefore required to take this review seriously and complete it thoroughly.
2.Students must ensure the authenticity of all submitted materials. Any falsification will result in cancellation of the scholarship.
