On December 12, 2025, the 8th “Zueler Alumni Talk”was successfully held. The event invited HOANG THI TAM, an outstanding Vietnamese alumnus as the speaker.
HOANG THI TAM earned her master’s degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from ZUEL. After returning to Vietnam, she has devoted herself to the field of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL), applying her academic expertise extensively to the practice of linguistic and cultural exchanges between China and Vietnam, and has become an active promoter of people‑to‑people connectivity between the two countries.
Drawing on her own professional journey, HOANG THI TAM elaborated on the job responsibilities, current industry landscape and future prospects of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in Vietnam.She also shared practical experience and insights gained from working and living in a cross-cultural environment, providing valuable reference for Vietnamese students planning to study in China or pursue careers related to cross-cultural communication.
