On November 11, the 5th “Zueler Alumni Talk”was held in International Education School. Dr. Hussain Abbas was invitedto be the speaker. Hussain Abbas obtained a Master's degree and a Doctoral degree in Accounting from ZUEL successively, followed by postdoctoral research at Kunming University of Science and Technology. During his studies, he was awarded the Outstanding Honorary Contribution Award and the Annual Excellent Academic Paper Award by ZUEL.
During the lecture, Dr. Hussain systematically outlined the development pathways for postdoctoral research, offering in-depth explanations covering multiple aspects including research direction selection, academic platform establishment, and career planning.
Drawing on his own experience, he provided an analysis of the key elements in postdoctoral applications, effective approaches to improving research capabilities, and the diverse possibilities for academic career development.
During the interactive session, participating students raised active questions and held in-depth discussions with Dr. Hussain on topics such as interdisciplinary research trends, international academic exchange opportunities, and the cultivation of research and innovation capabilities.
