On the morning of December 19, 2024, the cultural practice activity took place in Classroom 317 of Wenhuan Building.

Peking Opera, as the quintessence of Chinese culture, is an important manifestation of traditional Chinese culture. Face masks in Peking Opera are a major feature of operatic art, and drawing them can enhance students' experience of Peking Opera culture.

The activity began with Ms. Long Youzhen explaining the origin, symbolic meanings, and representative characters of the face masks. Through the learning, students gained a deeper understanding of the characters represented by the face masks and had higher expectations for drawing them.

Subsequently, the teacher distributed nearly 30 blank face masks to the students, who then began to focus intently on painting their own masks, carefully outlining and coloring them. After completing their paintings, the students showed off their face masks to each other, wore them, and took photos for souvenirs.
