International students, seeing Hu brushes for the first time, were curious about their shape and manufacturing process. When they first picked up a Hu brush, they were unsure how to use. Teachers began by introducing the history of the Chinese brush, thenguided students on how to hold the brush, dip it in ink, and move it.
Every dip of the brush in ink and every stroke of a Chinese character contains ancient wisdom. After teachers explained classic calligraphy and painting works, students' curiosity gradually turned into a strong desire to learn, and they began to imitate and practice with concentration.
