In order to promote the Chinese government scholarship students to understand China's national conditions, perceive Chinese culture, show the status quo of scholarship students’ study and life in school, the CSC will hold the “Experience China·My life of studying abroad” short video exhibition activity. The relevant events are hereby notified as follows.
1. Organization

2. Short video requirements
(1) The school will select 2 works and recommend them to CSC.
(2) The theme of the short video is “Experience China·My life of studying abroad”, and the sub topic is self-made.
(3) Video subject. Chinese government scholarship students are the main subjects, one or more students can be filmed in the same video.
(4) Video shooting language.
1) A single video uses the same language. The 2 videos recommended to the CSC will not be in the same language.
2) The video works should be in the native language of the student being photographed, and the nationality of the student should be indicated in the video, together with Chinese and English
subtitle.
(5) Video theme.
Students are encouraged to show their learning, living, participating in social practice, cultural experience and voluntary service in China in the form of storytelling from their own perspective.
(6) Video duration.
3 to 4 minutes.
(7) The format of the work.
The format of the work should be mp4 and horizontal version shooting. The resolution is not less than 1920*1080, allowing artistic creation and processing of works.
(8) Other considerations.
1) The works should not contain any contents (including words, language, music, narration, scene, background, etc.) that conflict with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China;
2) It should not contain or involve religious discrimination, racial discrimination, ethnic discrimination, etc;
3) It should not contain pornography, violence, drugs, gambling and other undesirable content;
4) Prohibition of plagiarism, infringement of the copyright of others;
5) Encourage the creation of healthy theme, ideological, artistic and perfect combination of film and television shooting and production technology;
6) Encourage the innovative spirit.
3. Short video submission
Please send the short video works to studentaffair@zuel.edu.cn in the form of document compression package before July 4, 2021. The subject of the email and the name of the works should be named as 2021 Experience China Video-Student Number-Name-Nationality. The contents include:
(1) Video works.
(2) Chinese and English subtitles in Word documents, and indicatewhich language is the translation from.
(3)Work introduction (see the attachment for the template).
4. Short video works evaluation
In principle, all the submitted works will not be returned, and the CSC will organize experts to select excellent works.
