I. Program Introduction:
The intellectual property law English master program of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law was supported by Intellectual Property Office of the PR China (SIPO) and Chinese Ministry of Education，as well as the "Belt and Road" Chinese Government IPR Scholarship Program.
The program bases on the excellent teachers and teaching platform in Intellectual Property School and Law School. The learning experience will be further enhanced and inspired by contributions from the involvement of specialized judges and practitioners experienced in the field. All the courses will be implemented in English language, in modular teaching and in way that close to practice. The world-class researchers and experts in Intellectual Property will gather here to provide high-quality courses. Graduates of the Program can work for domestic and foreign governments, judicial institutions or enterprises that having intellectual property business etc., especially the departments and international organizations engaging in foreign business in Intellectual property.
II. Duration of Study:
2 years (among which the course duration is 1 year in Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and the rest time is for practical training, thesis writing and online defense in student’s country. Students who complete all training program will be obtained the Master Degree in Law and Diploma ofZhongnan University of Economics and Law;

IV. Admission Requirements:
1. Non-Chinese citizen with a valid foreign passport;
2. The applicant obtained Bachelor Degree or Master Degree who has the “One Belt One Road” countries nationalitywhich accredited by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and Intellectual Property Office of the PR China;
3. English language proficiency: TOFEL80, IELTS6 or other other English certificates.
Note: Since 2010,those who immigrated to other countries from the Mainland China, HongKong, Macao or Taiwan and applying to study in Zhongnan University of Economics and Law as international students,Should satisfy the following additional requirements: the applicants must hold valid passport orother relevant international recognized documents for at least 4 years; meanwhile, in the latest4years (by each April 30th of the year of University registration),the applicants must live2years (Living overseas for 9 months can be converted to 1year, which is subject to theexit-entry stamp on visa.).
V. Application Materials:
1. A photocopy of personal information page of the passport, and the passport should be valid until 30thSep, 2020;
2. Notarized photocopies of highest diploma and graduate certificate attached with English translations.
3. Certificate of expected graduation issued by the university (for applicants who will be graduating from university before July only). The university diploma is required to be verified and notarized documents must be submitted at the registration;
4. Original or notarized academic transcripts (not a copy). If the academic transcripts are not in
Chinese or English, the original notarized translated document must be submitted;
5. Certification of English Proficiency (IELTS 6, TOEFL 80 or above or other English certificates);
6. Recommendation letters from two professors of associate professors, in Chinese or English(signature and contact information are necessary);
7. Personal Statement. The content should include application reasons, family financial condition, education and work experience, personal award and speciality etc. This should be written in English at least 1500 words.
Note: In addition to the above application materials, all the students should apply online in the enrollment system of Zhongnan University of Economics and law (http://iesmis.zuel.edu.cn) to choose the subject of “Chinese Government Scholarship Students(Pre-admission Letter) ” and upload all the required materials. Application documents will not be returned.（Please refer to the attachment as the filling instruction）
VI. Application Deadline:
10thMay, 2020
VII. Scholarship Covers:
1. 2 years Tuition waiver;
2. First year accommodation: free for international students dormitory （double persons room）or offer accommodation subsidy. If the university permits students to live off campus, the university will provide monthly/quarterly accommodation subsidy: CNY 700 per month;
3. First year Stipend:Master’s students: CNY 3,000 per month;Within the scholarship duration, registered scholarship students will receive a stipend from university every month. Students registeringbefore the 15th of the month will receive a full stipend of that month. Those who register after the 15th of the month will receive a half stipend of that month. Graduating students will receive stipend until half month after the graduation date. If registered student stays out of China for more than 15 days for a personal reason （winter vacation excluded）, his/her stipend will be stopped during his leaving;
4. First year comprehensive medical insurance in China.
VIII. Others :
1. Scholarship students should finish all the procedure which the admission notice noticed by the university. Students who have not received permission to be late for registration will have their scholarship status automatically canceled. The scholarship status will be canceled if the students have kept the admission by our permissionbut not register in the fall semester;
2. Scholarship students MUST participate in annual scholarship evaluation. Scholarship holders who fail to meet the requirements will have their scholarship canceled;
3. Scholarship students could not change their major or study period.
