I would like to thank Zhongnan University of Economics and Law(ZUEL), Hubei Copyright Bureau and Hubei Intellectual Property Society for giving me the opportunity to attend the the Central-China International Copyright Summit Forum . The conference was very interesting and gave me the opportunity to learn many issues in regards to Copyright Law. As a Ph.D. candidate at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law,Law School, specializing in Investment Law, Trade Law and Intellectual Property Rights, it was a very enriching experience for me to attend this conference. The conference was well attended and brought together leading experts and practitioners from Asia and beyond. Many copyright representatives of government, scholars, students and private institutions were present from China and worldwide. The focus of the forum was on the Development of the Magazine Industry and the Improvement of Copyright Law. The overarching goal of the forum was to take advantage of the China (Wuhan) Periodical Fair (CWPT), to strengthen the international cooperation and exchange of copyright institutes and enterprises, to improve the research level of copyright and to promote the sound development of copyright industries.

The forum featured the input of 30 speakers from almost 7 countries including me. I shared with the participants on the latest development of copyright Law in Ghana. It was indeed a great opportunity to tell the rest of the world about my country and how copyright laws are enforced. The forum was a wonderful opportunity for me to understand the enforcement of copyright laws in other countries, make valuable contacts as well as be exposed to the wealth of knowledge, experience and ingenuity that other researchers, educators and those involved in copyright have to offer to others. I am very grateful for the honor of attending and presenting at such a well-organized and fruitful conference.
