2017年孔子学院奖学金申请办法 Application Procedures for Confucius Institute Scholarship 2017
For the purpose of facilitating dissemination of Chinese culture, as well as cultivating qualified Chinese-language teachers, Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban launches a “Confucius Institute Scholarship” program to sponsor foreign students, scholars and Chinese language teachers to study Chinese in relevant universities of China.
一、 资助对象、资助内容与申请条件:Scholarship Objects、Coverage and Requirements for applicants:
资助对象：身心健康，无不良行为记录，被接收院校在孔子学院奖学金网站预录取，年龄为16-35周岁（在职汉语教师放宽至45周岁、本科限20周岁以下）的非中国籍人士。
Scholarship Objects: Application is open to applicant who owns a non-Chinese citizenship, aged between 16 and 35, in good health condition, and is pre-admitted by accepted institution in the Confucius Institute Scholarship website. (Applicant is currently working in a Chinese language teaching position shall not exceed the age limit of 45. Undergraduate student shall not exceed the age limit of 20).
各类别奖学金按资助内容设全额奖学金和部分奖学金，详见《孔子学院奖学金资助标准》。
The scholarship of each category shall be provided with a full scholarship and a partial scholarship in accordance with the scholarship coverage, as detailed in the Confucius Institute Scholarship Criteria.
申请条件是：Requirements for applicants
1.一学年研修生 2017年9月入学，资助期限为11个月。不录取2017年1月1日后仍在华学习的留学生。
1. Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Study Students. This category provides a sponsorship for 11 months, the study starts from September, 2017. Foreign students who are still studying in China after January 1st, 2017 are not accepted.
向有志于从事汉语翻译、汉学研究的学生和学者分别提供汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学高级课程。申请者HSK成绩应达到四级180分，HSKK达到中级。按国别、报名先后和汉语水平高低分别提供全额奖学金或部分奖学金。
Provide students and scholars who have engaged in Chinese translation and Sinology with advanced courses of Chinese Language & Literature、Chinese History、 Chinese Philosophy. Provide full or partial scholarship according to the country, the application order and the Chinese proficiency level .
2.一学期研修生奖学金 2017年9月或2018年3月入学，资助期限为5个月。不录取有来华留学经历者。
2. Scholarship for One-Semester Study Students. This category provides a sponsorship for 5 months, the study starts from September, 2017 or March, 2018.
2.1向有志于传播中国文化并有相关专业基础的人士分别提供中医、太极文化研修课程和全额奖学金。申请者须提供HSK成绩报告。
2.1 Provide those who are interested in the dissemination of Chinese culture and own related professional foundation with Chinese Medicine, Tai Chi Culture courses and full scholarship. Applicants must provide HSK report.
2.2 向汉语传播相关专业的学生与学者分别提供汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学研修课程。申请者HSK成绩应达到三级210分，具有HSKK成绩。按国别、报名先后和汉语水平高低分别提供全额奖学金或部分奖学金。
2.2 Provide students and scholars who are majored in the dissemination of Chinese culture and related majors with coursed of Chinese Language & Literature、Chinese History、 Chinese Philosophy. Applicants should have a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test （Level 3）, and have scores in HSKK test. Provide full or partial scholarship according to the country, the application order and the Chinese proficiency level .
3. 南亚师资班 汉办师资处面向孟加拉、尼泊尔、巴基斯坦、斯里兰卡、阿富汗、马尔代夫、印度等7国申请者，专门设立南亚师资班项目，详见附录。
3. South Asia Teachers Program Hanban Teachers’ Office will esblish South Asia Teachers Program for applicants who come from Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Maldives and India. For details, see appendix.
在各类汉语桥比赛中获得2017年度“孔子学院奖学金证书”的学生无须申请。请按第二条“办理流程”，凭奖学金证书完成相关接收院校的入学审核手续。如有问题请咨询chinesebridge@hanban.org。
“Chinese Bridge” （Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students） Winners who have been awarded the 2017 “Confucius Institute Scholarship Certificate” can complete the admission process of the relevant receiving college with the scholarship certificate according to the second part “Admission Procedure”. For questions, please consult : chinesebridge@hanban.org.
有关专业培养方案与教学课程，可咨询接收院校。接收院校审核入学资格时有权要求面试申请者，并请提供《孔子学院奖学金申请材料清单》以外的其它证明。
Please consult receiving college about professional training programs and teaching courses. Receiving colleges have the right to request the applicants for the interview when auditing admission qualification, and please provide other documents other than the List of Application Materials for the Confucius College Scholarship.
二、 办理流程: Admission Procedure:
登录孔子学院奖学金网站（cis.chinese.cn），查询推荐机构与接收院校；在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果；获奖者与接收院校确认办理来华留学手续,在线打印获奖证书；按规定时间注册学籍后享受孔子学院奖学金待遇。
注：成功被录取后，获奖者需尽快在我校系统在线注册并提交孔子学院奖学金申请，申请网址：http://iesmis.zuel.edu.cn
Log on to Confucius Institute Scholarship website（cis.chinese.cn）, check recommendation institutions and receiving institutions; Apply online in Institute Scholarship website and then focus on application process, audit opinion and the scholarship result; Scholarship winners confirm the procedures for studying in China with receiving institutions, printing award certificate online；Register at school within the stipulated time and then enjoy the Confucius institute scholarship.
Note: After being admitted, the successful applicants need to register and apply online ASAP： http://iesmis.zuel.edu.cn Complete the information, upload all the required documents and submit your application.
汉办将于学生入学前2个月完成奖学金评审。
Hanban will complete scholarship review in 2 months before the students.
