To effectively carry out the 2026 annual review of the Chinese Government Scholarship and university scholarship, and to help all international scholarship recipients accurately understand the review policies and procedures, ensuring the review process is conducted in a standardized and orderly manner, International Education School organized the 2026 Scholarship Annual Review Instruction Session in classroom 304 of the South Annex Building on the afternoon of April 9. The session was chaired by Teacher Zhu,international student counselor, and was attended by all Chinese Government Scholarship and university scholarship recipients.
During the session, Teacher Zhu provided a comprehensive and systematic explanation of the subject, content, procedures, and key considerations for the 2026 scholarship annual review.She emphasized that the annual review serves as a holistic assessment of scholarship recipients’ moral conduct, academic performance, attitude toward studies/research, and participation in activities. The review aims to fully leverage the motivational and guiding function of scholarships in the cultivation of international students, promoting their overall personal qualities and academic capabilities. In accordance with the requirements outlined in thenotice and theuniversity's relevant work arrangements, IES officially initiated this year's review process on April 7 and has issued the review notice to all participating students.
During the Q&A session, Teacher Zhu addressed students' common concerns regarding the preparation of review materials, system operation procedures, and detailed scoring criteria, providing clarifications and highlighting key points based on review cases from previous years.
