ScholarGPS aggregates information profiles of over 30 million scholars worldwide, alongside massive datasets of publications, patents, and books. Utilizing artificial intelligence, data mining, machine learning, and other data science techniques, the platform comprehensively analyzes three key metrics: research output (number of publications), influence (citation counts, excluding self-citations), and publication quality. This enables ScholarGPS to rank the excellence of more than 30 million scholars and 55,000 institutions across diverse domains, disciplines, and specialties (14 Fields, 177 Disciplines, and over 350,000 Specialties).
