The student team from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law achieved excellent results in the Third National College Student Digital Trade Comprehensive Skills Competition.

On September 29, 2024, the awards ceremony for the National Finals of the Third National College Student Digital Trade Comprehensive Skills Competition was grandly held in the Golden Hall of the Zijin Port Campus of Zhejiang University. This event was hosted by the China Digital Trade Research Institute of Zhejiang University and organized by the National College Student Digital Trade Comprehensive Skills Competition Committee, aiming to inspire and cultivate college students' practical abilities and innovative spirit in the field of digital trade. Since its inception, the competition has undergone three years of development, and the 2024 edition attracted 16,569 students from 527 universities nationwide, with its scale and influence continuing to expand, establishing itself as a brand event in the domestic digital trade sector.


In the highly competitive "Silk Road E-commerce Innovation and Entrepreneurship for International Students" category, 71 teams from 43 universities successfully advanced to the national finals. Two teams from the School of Business Administration and the School of Economics of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law performed admirably, winning third place in the national finals, demonstrating the school's achievements in talent cultivation in the field of digital trade.

Among them, the "Dried Mango" team, consisting of Li Jingyi, Wang Zeyu, and Li Jinlan from the School of Business Administration, along with international student Tegus from the School of Economics, successfully advanced and won third place under the careful guidance of their instructors Liu Kai and Wu Lamei. The team's solid professional knowledge and teamwork skills were unanimously recognized by the judges, showcasing the strong advantages of interdisciplinary and cross-cultural collaboration.





At the same time, the "Naming is the Hardest" team, composed of Yang Bolai and Xu Shan from the School of Economics and Huang Feiling and Zhang Xiuwen from the School of Business Administration, also performed excellently in the competition, securing third place. Guided by instructors Liu Kai and Zhang Liang, this team demonstrated extraordinary innovative thinking and team spirit, standing out with their steady performance despite facing many strong competitors.


The outstanding results of this competition reflect Zhongnan University of Economics and Law's remarkable achievements in cultivating talents in digital trade and highlight the school's high emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship education. The success of these two teams once again proves the school's outstanding performance in international education and cross-cultural communication. Zhongnan University also received the Excellent Organization Award, further underscoring the school's active role in promoting student innovation practices and the international education process.
